今年もインド、ラジャスターン、ブリジット・シンの工房から美しいブロックプリントがやってきました。いずれも一枚一枚を手作業でプリントしています。52cm×52cmの大判ハンカチーフです。ブリジット・シンならではのシックな色使い。少し厚手です。

Brigitte Singh ブリジット・シン
フランス生まれ。学生時代からインドでブロックプリントを研究。ラジャスターンに伝わる伝統柄の復刻や、ムガルガーデンをテーマに精緻な模様をデザインし、プリント柄を生かすウエアやファブリックをデザイン。ブロックプリントという手仕事の魅力を伝え続けています。また、染色で出る排水を、カンナなどの植物を使い飲めるレベルに浄化して自然に還すシステムを取り入れています。美しいものを生み出しながら、必要以上に生産せず、持続可能な生産環境づくりを実践しています。

お手入れ方法：長くお使いいただくコツとして、水で中性洗剤を用いて手濯いかデリケートモードでのお洗濯（温度は30℃）を推奨しています。
