インド、ウッタルプラデーシュ州の州都ラクナウから届いた手刺繍のチュニックです。
この地の刺繍はチカンカリ＝刺繍芸術と呼ばれ、ネットと呼ばれる透かしの技法が特に美しいのです。

このチュニックには、銀色の糸で小鳥たちが刺繍されています。
白い糸で森の蔓草や花が刺繍され、背中にも、背守りのように、お日様と2羽の仲良しの小鳥たち。

前あきなので、これからの季節、クーラー対策や秋風対策に下にしっかり着て、上から羽織ることもできます。

ラグラン袖だから、着脱のストレスも皆無です。

襟裏に入っているヒンディー文字の刺繍は、刺繍をした人の名前です。
一人ひとりの自信作。手刺繍なので同じものはありません。
